2. PURPOSE OF THE PLATFORM AND BEAUTLIX’S ROLE
2.1. Beautlix provides a technology platform where Clients can:
a) search for and compare Service Providers;
b) view services, prices, locations and available time slots;
c) book appointments;
d) manage their Bookings;
e) leave reviews;
f) use other features made available on the Platform.
2.2. Service Providers may use the Platform to manage Bookings, work schedules, client information, payments, marketing, staff and other business functions.
2.3. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Beautlix is not the provider of beauty or other services listed on the Platform. A contract for a specific service is concluded directly between the Client and the selected Service Provider. The Service Provider’s identity and contact details are shown in its profile or before the Booking is confirmed.
2.4. The Service Provider is independently responsible for its professional activities, qualifications, licences, service quality and results. Beautlix may verify identity, registration, contact details or information confirming the Service Provider’s right to operate; however, such verification is not a guarantee of service quality or any specific result.
2.5. Beautlix is responsible for the operation of the Platform it provides, the information it supplies and the performance of its obligations to the extent provided in these Terms and applicable law.
2.6. Before a Booking is made, the Client is clearly informed who provides the specific service and how the obligations relating to that service are allocated among Beautlix, the Service Provider and the Client.
2.7. Beautlix may offer additional payment administration, marketing, communication, reminder, analytics or other business features. Their scope, price and whether they are mandatory are stated in the selected commercial plan or individual agreement. An additional feature is not mandatory unless it was clearly identified before the plan was selected as an integral part of that plan.
3. ELIGIBILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM
3.1. An Account may be registered independently only by a person who is at least 18 years old.
3.2. Minors may use the Platform only with the consent and supervision of their parents, guardians or other legal representatives, where permitted by applicable law.
3.3. A person creating an Account on behalf of a legal entity confirms that they are authorised to represent that legal entity.
3.4. Beautlix may request documents confirming identity, authority to represent, professional qualifications or the legality of the activity.
3.5. Before activating a Service Provider’s listings, Beautlix may request its legal or trading name, registration details, address, telephone number, email address, settlement details and, where applicable, licences or permits. Beautlix may use reliable sources to verify the information provided.
3.6. If information required for verification is not provided, is incomplete or gives rise to reasonable doubts, publication of the listings may be temporarily withheld or restricted, and the Service Provider will be informed.
4. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND SECURITY
4.1. You must provide true, accurate and up-to-date information when registering.

i) the accuracy and timely updating of its identity, trader status, registration and contact details.
5.3. A Service Provider may not list services that it is not legally entitled to provide.
5.4. Where applicable, the Service Provider must inform the Client in advance about material service conditions, possible contraindications, preparation, risks and aftercare recommendations.
5.5. Medical, dental, aesthetic medicine and other licensed services are subject to additional statutory requirements. Information on the Platform does not replace an individual consultation with a licensed professional.
5.6. The Service Provider is independently responsible for the actions of its employees, representatives and subcontractors.
5.7. The Service Provider must immediately notify Beautlix of any change to its right to operate, licences, contact or registration details, or any other circumstance that may affect Client safety or rights.
6. OBLIGATIONS OF CLIENTS
6.1. The Client must:
a) provide accurate contact and Booking information;
b) arrive at the booked time;
c) comply with the Service Provider’s reasonable rules;
d) give timely notice of non-attendance or cancellation;
e) pay the service price clearly disclosed before the Booking;
f) provide the Service Provider directly only with health or other information reasonably necessary for the safe provision of the specific service. Such information must not be made public or uploaded to the Platform unless a separate, clearly identified feature and legal basis exist.
6.2. Where there are reasonable concerns about health, allergies, contraindications or other risks, the Client is advised to consult a qualified professional before receiving the service. Beautlix does not assess an individual’s medical suitability.
6.3. Fictitious Bookings, abuse of the cancellation system, disruption of Service Providers’ activities and any other unfair use of the Platform are prohibited.
7. BOOKINGS AND CONCLUSION OF THE SERVICE CONTRACT
7.1. A service displayed on the Platform is generally an invitation to submit a Booking request unless the specific offer expressly states otherwise.
7.2. The service contract between the Client and the Service Provider is concluded when the Booking is confirmed on the Platform or by another clearly indicated method. Before confirmation, the Client is provided with essential information about the Service Provider, the service, price, time, cancellation terms and any additional charges.
7.3. Once a Booking is confirmed, confirmation may be sent to the Client by email, SMS, in-app notification or another selected channel.
7.4. The User must check the Booking details and report any errors without delay.
7.5. The Service Provider may reasonably change or cancel a Booking if the service cannot be provided. In such a case, the Client must be informed as soon as possible.
7.6. Beautlix does not guarantee that every time slot shown on the Platform will always remain available, but takes reasonable measures to ensure that the information displayed is accurate.
8. CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS AND NO-SHOWS
8.1. The terms for changing and cancelling a Booking are set by the relevant Service Provider and must be presented to the Client before the Booking is confirmed.
8.2. The Client must cancel the Booking within the time limit stated on the Platform or in the Service Provider’s rules.
8.3. A late-cancellation or no-show fee may apply if the Client was clearly informed of it before confirming the Booking.
8.4. A Service Provider may not charge fees that were not stated on the Platform or in rules provided in advance.
8.5. Any refund due for a cancelled Booking will be processed in accordance with applicable law, the payment service provider’s rules and the terms of the specific offer.
8.6. A Booking must be capable of being changed or cancelled using the simple method indicated on the Platform or by contacting the Service Provider directly if the Platform feature is temporarily unavailable.
9. PRICES, PAYMENTS AND INVOICES
9.1. Prices on the Platform are stated in euros or another clearly indicated currency. Before a Booking is made, the total amount payable is shown, including applicable taxes and mandatory additional charges. If a charge cannot be calculated accurately in advance, the method used to calculate it is clearly stated.
9.2. The Service Provider that publishes the price is responsible for its accuracy.
9.3. Payments may be made:
a) through the Platform;
b) at the Service Provider’s premises;
c) through a third-party payment service provider;
d) by another method disclosed before the Booking.
9.4. Payments may be subject to the payment service provider’s terms and privacy policy.
9.5. If Beautlix collects payment on behalf of a Service Provider, this does not make Beautlix the provider of the service.
9.6. Service Providers may be charged subscription, payment administration, advertising or other fees clearly disclosed before selecting a commercial plan or entering into an individual agreement. Beautlix does not charge commission on the price of a service provided to a Client.
9.7. The Service Provider is responsible for issuing proper invoices, receipts and other accounting documents unless expressly agreed otherwise.
10. CONSUMER RIGHTS AND REFUNDS
10.1. A Client who qualifies as a consumer under the law benefits from the mandatory consumer-protection rights of the Republic of Lithuania and the European Union.
10.2. These Terms do not restrict any rights that cannot be waived or limited by law.
10.3. Where a service contract is concluded at a distance and no statutory exception applies, the consumer generally has the right to withdraw from it within 14 days without giving a reason. The Service Provider supplies the specific withdrawal terms and information before the Booking.
10.4. If the consumer expressly requests that performance begin before the end of the 14-day period and subsequently withdraws, the consumer may be required to pay for the part of the service properly supplied before withdrawal. The right to withdraw from a fully performed service is lost only where performance began with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgment that the right would be lost once the contract had been fully performed.
10.5. The fact that a beauty or care service is booked for a specific date does not by itself mean that the 14-day right of withdrawal never applies. Each case is assessed according to the nature of the service and mandatory law.
10.6. Whether the Client is entitled to a refund for a defective, unprovided or cancelled service is determined in accordance with the Service Provider’s terms disclosed in advance and mandatory law.
10.7. Disputes concerning a specific service should first be addressed directly with the Service Provider that supplied it. Beautlix may assist by forwarding information and Booking data held on the Platform, but does not decide in place of the parties to the service contract, except for disputes concerning a service supplied by Beautlix itself.
11. REVIEWS AND USER CONTENT
11.1. A User may publish a review only about a service actually received or an experience actually had.
11.2. A review may be marked as verified only where it can be linked to a Booking made and completed through the Platform or the experience has been verified by another reasonable method. Unverified reviews are not presented as verified.
11.3. Beautlix may use automated and manual measures to check the origin, duplication, manipulation and possible conflicts of interest relating to reviews. Beautlix does not rewrite reviews in a way that changes their substance and does not purchase fictitious positive ratings.
11.4. Reviews must be honest, substantiated and must not infringe the rights of others.
11.5. It is prohibited to publish:
a) false or misleading information;
b) threats or content promoting hatred or discrimination;
c) another person’s personal data without a lawful basis;
d) advertising, spam or artificially generated reviews;
e) content infringing copyright, trademarks or other rights;
f) illegal, obscene or socially dangerous content.
11.6. Potentially Illegal Content may be reported by email to hello@beautlix.com or through the reporting feature provided on the Platform.
11.7. A report should contain a reasoned explanation, the precise location or URL of the Content, the reporter’s name or business name and email address, and confirmation that the information is submitted in good faith and is accurate. Identity details are not required where the law permits anonymous reporting.
11.8. Upon receiving a sufficiently precise report, Beautlix acknowledges receipt and makes a decision in a timely, diligent, objective and impartial manner. A reporter who has provided contact details is informed of the decision and any available appeal options.
11.9. Where Content is removed or its visibility reduced, or payments or an Account are restricted because of illegality or a breach of these Terms, the affected User is given a clear statement of reasons and information on how to request review, unless prohibited by law or there is an urgent security risk.
11.10. By uploading Content, the User confirms that they have the right to use it and grants Beautlix a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, technically process, display and distribute the Content to the extent necessary to operate the Platform, display the Service Provider’s profile or offer, and promote the Platform. Content is not used for purposes unrelated to the Platform.
11.11. The User retains ownership of their Content.
11.12. Beautlix may remove or restrict Content that breaches these Terms, applicable law or the rights of others.
12. SEARCH RESULTS AND RANKING
12.1. The following main parameters may affect the visibility and ordering of Service Providers in search results:
a) relevance to the Client’s search;
b) location and distance;
c) service availability;
d) prices and service categories;
e) ratings and reviews;
f) completeness of Account information;
g) Booking and cancellation history;
h) Platform quality and reliability criteria;
i) commercial or advertising measures.
12.2. Relevance to the Client’s search, the selected location or distance, and actual availability generally carry the greatest weight. Price and category relevance, reviews, profile completeness and reliability indicators are then considered. The specific weighting may vary depending on the search and filters selected by the User.
12.3. A Service Provider may improve organic visibility by supplying complete and accurate information, keeping availability up to date and reliably fulfilling Bookings. Payment to Beautlix alone does not guarantee any position in organic results.
12.4. Paid, promoted or priority Content, where applicable, is clearly labelled and distinguished from ordinary results. Payment may affect only the labelled advertising position.
12.5. The Client may change the ordering of results using the filters, sorting options, location, date or service category provided on the Platform.
12.6. Beautlix may change its search, recommendation and ranking systems to improve Platform quality, safety and relevance. Changes that materially affect Business Users’ visibility or commercial terms will be communicated in accordance with Section 22.
12.7. If Beautlix itself or through a controlled entity were to offer services competing with those of other Service Providers and apply different treatment or data access to them, that differentiated treatment would be clearly disclosed in this section or before it takes effect.
13. PROHIBITED USE
13.1. When using the Platform, it is prohibited to:
a) violate applicable law or third-party rights;
b) impersonate another person;
c) collect other Users’ data without a lawful basis;
d) distribute viruses, malicious code or automated requests;
e) attempt to circumvent Platform security measures;
f) copy, extract or collect Platform data in bulk without written permission;
g) manipulate reviews, rankings or Bookings;
h) use the Platform for fraud or money laundering;
i) list prohibited, illegal or misleading services;
j) interfere with the operation of the Platform or other Users’ use of it.
13.2. Robots, data-harvesting software, automated agents or other tools may not be used to copy Platform Content in bulk without Beautlix’s prior written consent.
14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
14.1. The Platform’s software code, design, databases, logos, trademarks, texts, graphic elements and other Content created by Beautlix belong to Beautlix or its licensors.
14.2. The User is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Platform in accordance with these Terms.
14.3. The Platform or any part of it may not be copied, modified, distributed, sold, rented, decompiled or otherwise commercially exploited without written permission.
14.4. The Beautlix name, logo and other marks may not be used in a way that creates a false impression of partnership, endorsement or representation.
15. PERSONAL DATA AND COOKIES
15.1. Information on how Beautlix collects and processes personal data is provided in the Privacy Policy:
https://www.beautlix.lt/en/privacy-policy/
15.2. Information on the use of cookies and similar technologies is provided in the Cookie Policy:
https://www.beautlix.lt/en/cookie-policy/
15.3. When processing personal data for its own business purposes, Beautlix may act as an independent data controller.
15.4. Where a Service Provider independently determines the purposes and means of processing Client data, it is an independent data controller and is responsible for the lawfulness of that processing.
15.5. Where Beautlix processes personal data on behalf of a Service Provider as a data processor, that processing may be governed by a separate Date Processing Agreement.
15.6. A Service Provider may not use Client data obtained through the Platform for unrelated marketing without an appropriate legal basis.
15.7. Through its Account, a Service Provider may access the profile and service information it has submitted, Booking data, Client data required to fulfil Bookings, and other business data available under its selected plan. The scope of access depends on the lawful role, employee permissions and Platform features.
15.8. Beautlix has access to data necessary for Platform administration, security, payments, support, analytics and compliance with legal obligations. Date is disclosed to third parties only on the grounds specified in the Privacy Policy, Date Processing Agreement or applicable law.
15.9. Before closing an Account, the Service Provider is advised to export the data it needs. If a request is submitted within 30 days after Account closure, data that may lawfully be supplied will be provided in a commonly used format, provided that its retention period has not expired and disclosure is not restricted by the rights of others or applicable law.
16. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
16.1. The Platform may use third-party payment, mapping, analytics, communication, cloud, authentication and other services.
16.2. Third-party services may be governed by their own terms of use and privacy policies.
16.3. Beautlix is not responsible for the content or operation of third-party websites or services, except where liability is imposed by mandatory law.
17. PLATFORM AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES
17.1. We aim to ensure stable operation of the Platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted or entirely error-free operation.
17.2. The Platform may be temporarily unavailable because of:
a) maintenance;
b) updates;
c) security incidents;
d) communication failures or disruption of third-party services;
e) force majeure.
17.3. Beautlix may change, supplement, temporarily suspend or discontinue individual Platform features.
17.4. If a change would materially reduce the functionality of a paid service, the Service Provider will be informed in advance and allowed to terminate the relevant paid plan, except where the change must be made immediately because of law, security or circumstances beyond Beautlix’s control.
18. ACCOUNT RESTRICTION AND TERMINATION
18.1. A User may stop using the Platform and request closure of their Account.
18.2. Beautlix may temporarily restrict or terminate an Account if the User:
a) breaches these Terms;
b) provides false information;
c) poses a threat to the security of the Platform or others;
d) fails to meet payment obligations;
e) provides illegal or dangerous services;
f) repeatedly receives substantiated complaints;
g) otherwise abuses the Platform.
18.3. Where a breach can be remedied, Beautlix may allow a reasonable period for correction.
18.4. An Account may be restricted immediately where there is an urgent risk involving security, fraud or a breach of law.
18.5. Closing an Account does not release the User from payment, liability or other obligations that arose before closure.
18.6. When a Business User’s Account is restricted or suspended, specific reasons for the decision are provided on a durable medium before or at the time the decision takes effect. Where Platform services to a Business User are terminated entirely, notice of the decision and reasons is generally given at least 30 days in advance.
18.7. The 30-day period does not apply where Beautlix must terminate the service under the law or an authority’s order, where there is an urgent security or fraud risk, or where the Business User has repeatedly and materially breached these Terms. Where possible, notice of such a decision and its reasons is given immediately.
18.8. Within six months of receiving a decision, the User may request a review by emailing hello@beautlix.com. The complaint must identify the Account, the disputed decision and the supporting arguments. The complaint is reviewed free of charge, promptly and impartially, and the decision is not made solely by automated means.
18.9. If the decision is reversed, Beautlix will restore the Content, feature or Account that was unjustifiably restricted without undue delay where technically feasible and lawful.
19. LIABILITY
19.1. Beautlix is liable for breaches of its contractual and statutory obligations in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of rights or remedies that cannot be restricted by agreement.
19.2. Because the specific service is supplied to the Client by an independent Service Provider, Beautlix is not responsible for circumstances outside its control for which the Service Provider is liable by law, including:
a) the Service Provider’s acts or omissions;
b) the quality, safety or outcome of the service;
c) inaccuracies in information supplied by the Service Provider;
d) failure by the Client or Service Provider to perform contractual obligations;
e) health problems resulting from the Service Provider’s actions or the Client’s failure to disclose important information.
19.3. In relation to Business Users and only to the extent permitted by law, Beautlix is not liable for indirect loss, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunity or reputational damage that could not reasonably have been foreseen when the contract was concluded.
19.4. Further liability limits for a Business User may be set out in an individual agreement or selected commercial plan, but they cannot exclude liability that may not be limited by law.
19.5. The limitations in this section do not apply to:
a) intent or gross negligence;
b) death or personal injury;
c) mandatory liability under consumer-protection law;
d) any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
19.6. This section does not release Beautlix from liability for direct loss caused by its own improper provision of the Platform service, breach of data-security obligations or misleading information supplied by Beautlix itself.
20. SERVICE PROVIDERS’ LIABILITY TOWARDS BEAUTLIX
20.1. A Service Provider is liable for direct, reasonable and documented losses or costs incurred by Beautlix as a result of the Service Provider’s:
a) unlawful professional activity;
b) misleading service descriptions;
c) infringement of intellectual property rights;
d) unlawful processing of personal data;
e) failure to comply with tax or accounting obligations;
f) breach of these Terms.
20.2. This provision applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law and the individual agreement with the Service Provider.
21. FORCE MAJEURE
21.1. Neither party is liable for failure to perform its obligations caused by circumstances reasonably beyond its control, including natural disasters, war, actions of public authorities, communication failures, cyberattacks, power outages or other force majeure events.
22. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS OF USE
22.1. Beautlix may periodically update these Terms because of changes in law, Platform features, the business model, security or other reasonable grounds.
22.2. The latest version of the Terms is published on the Platform and states the date of the update.
22.3. Registered Users are informed of material changes by email, a notice on the Platform or another durable method before the changes take effect.
22.4. Business Users are notified of changes applicable to them at least 15 days in advance. If implementation requires significant technical or commercial adaptations, a proportionately longer period is provided.
22.5. Advance notice may not apply to editorial changes that do not alter the meaning of the Terms, or where immediate amendment is necessary because of law, an authority’s order, fraud, cybersecurity or another urgent risk.
22.6. Before changes take effect, the User may stop using the Platform. Continued use after proper notice may constitute acceptance only to the extent permitted by law. Where separate express consent is required, Beautlix obtains it before applying the change.
23. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
23.1. These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania, without limiting the protection granted to a consumer by mandatory laws of the country in which the consumer resides.
23.2. If you have a question or dispute, please contact us first:
Email: hello@beautlix.com
23.3. Consumer complaints are answered in accordance with the procedures and time limits prescribed by law.
23.4. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, the consumer may contact the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority:
A. Goštauto g. 12, LT-01108 Vilnius
Website: www.vvtat.lrv.lt
23.5. The consumer also has the right to apply to a competent court in accordance with the law.
23.6. In relation to a possible infringement of the European Union Digital Services Act, the User may also lodge a complaint with the Digital Services Coordinator in the country of residence or establishment. In Lithuania, this function is performed by the Communications Regulatory Authority: https://www.rrt.lt/.
23.7. Disputes between Beautlix and a Service Provider acting for business purposes are resolved by the courts of the Republic of Lithuania according to the location of Beautlix’s registered office, unless an individual agreement provides otherwise.
24. FINAL PROVISIONS
24.1. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
24.2. Beautlix’s failure to exercise a particular right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
24.3. The User may not transfer their rights or obligations under these Terms without Beautlix’s prior written consent.
24.4. Beautlix may transfer its rights and obligations to an affiliated company, business successor or another person in the event of a reorganisation, business transfer or similar transaction, while ensuring compliance with applicable law.
24.5. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, commercial plan terms and other expressly referenced documents, constitute the agreement governing use of the Platform.
